THE BRIEF
Zed had a vision of a website that coincided and complimented his latest album launch. For this he wanted to use the same artwork used for his album as the background to his website.
His vision included a simple landing page with maximum impact that drives user to visit his various social channels – challenge accepted.
WEBSITE DEVELOPMENT
Using Zed’s album artwork as the primary website background presented some challenges. The biggest being that when paired with the blue that Zed desired we were getting major “baby shower” vibes. To combat this we invited brown to the party. We also invited rough Battery Park Font and added some texture and opacity to the background image for that element of grunge.
A fixed social bar means that all of Zed’s additional digital channels are within easy striking distance. A custom preloader keeps the users engaged while some of the larger media assets load.
